This website is fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- Field-set elements are not labeled with legend elements. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships)
- Content inserted with CSS is not read by some screen readers, and not available to people who turn off style sheets. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships)
- Some elements do not contain text or an image with an alternative attribute. This means screen readers have nothing to read if there is no link text or the text is blank and so would read out the URL instead. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.4.4, 2.4.9 and 4.1.2 (Link Purpose (In Context), Link Purpose (Link Only) and Name, Role, Value)
- HTML form control has no accessible name. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value)
- Some links are not visually evident without color vision. Removing the underline from links makes it hard for color-blind users to see them. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.1 (Use of Color) ]
- Voice-over fails to pronounce abbreviations as intended; hence users will hear it as sound rather than abbreviations itself. This fails WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
Non-HTML documents published before September 2018 do not need to be accessible - unless users need them to use a service.
How we tested this website

Disproportionate burden
Navigation and accessing information
There’s no way to skip the repeated content in the page header (for example, a ‘skip to main content’ option).
Non-HTML documents published before September 2018 do not need to be accessible - unless users need them to use a service.
It’s not always possible to change the device orientation from horizontal to vertical without making it more difficult to view the content.
It’s not possible for users to change text size without some of the content overlapping.
We’ve assessed the cost of fixing the issues with navigation and accessing information. We believe that doing so now would be a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations. We will make another assessment when the supplier contract is up for renewal, likely to be in [rough timing].
